Words from the Cottage
A collection of thoughts, stories and little moments worth putting into words.
Here you'll find a little bit of everything that makes life meaningful to me, from the wisdom of the Moon and the journey of spiritual awakening to personal reflections, lessons learned, stories from everyday life and the thoughts that sometimes find their way onto to the page when the world grows quiet.
Some words might make you think, others might make you smile, and some may simply remind you that you're not alone in the things you feel or the questions you ask.
This is a space for curiosity, connection, a little everyday magic and the beauty of being human.
So, take a break, settle in and have a wander through my words. You might just find something that speaks to your soul.

And honestly, that’s the perfect place to start - because following your heart isn’t just poetic or whimsical. It’s genuinely good for your health.
I know that sounds a bit dramatic, but hear me out.
Your Heart Knows When You’re Out of Alignment
You know that tight feeling in your chest when you’re forcing yourself through something that doesn’t feel right? Or that heavy, foggy sensation when you’re ignoring what you really want?
That’s not just you in a funk. That’s your body waving a little flag saying, “Hey… this isn’t it. What the bloody hell are you doing?!”
When we push against our own intuition, our stress levels rise. Our sleep gets worse. Our shoulders creep up to our ears. We start snapping at people we love. It’s wild how quickly the body reacts when we’re out of alignment.
But when we follow our heart - even in tiny ways - everything softens…
